A huge success in Vienna: we have been awarded the BGF Prize 2026!

We’re absolutely delighted here in the team: on 11 June, we were honoured to receive the prestigious BGF Prize 2026 in Vienna, Austria!

In the festive setting of the Wolke21 event venue, our long-standing commitment to health in the workplace was honoured with the highest Austrian accolade in this field. Our authorised signatory and Head of Workplace Health Promotion, Gabriele Leibetseder, accepted the coveted trophy on behalf of the entire ISOCELL team. We are absolutely delighted to emerge from this awards ceremony as a model company and proud winner for the province of Salzburg.

A decade of healthy living

What began as an initiative in 2013 led to our first official workplace health promotion (BGF) certification as early as 2016. For over ten years, we have been continuously committed to the physical and mental wellbeing of our team by introducing targeted initiatives into our day-to-day working lives. We have already been awarded the BGF seal of approval four times in recognition of this long-term commitment – and the latest BGF award now marks the crowning glory of our efforts.

The reason this system is so deeply ingrained in our organisation lies in our foundations: what defines and unites us – however diverse the personalities in the team may be – are our corporate values, which we actively live out every day. It is these values that make us successful: “Commitment that inspires”, genuine trustworthiness and a genuine team spirit.

“BGF gives us a valuable 360-degree view of our company,” explains Gabriele Leibetseder. “It helps us to continually scrutinise and further develop our working environment, collaboration across departments, communication and our approach to leadership. For us, the well-being of our workforce is central, as this is where our greatest potential for success lies. Through the feedback received during the workplace health promotion process, we have learnt, for example, that technical experts are not automatically the best managers. That is why we are completely overhauling our leadership development programme whilst simultaneously creating attractive career opportunities in specialist roles, entirely without managerial responsibility.”

Success through having a say and taking an active role

The foundation of our success lies in the consistent involvement of all staff members. Workplace health promotion is firmly embedded in our organisational structure: a dedicated steering group – comprising senior management, our health and safety officer and occupational health doctors – oversees the projects, supported by an occupational psychologist. In our regular health circles, we draw on the collective wisdom of our team to work out concrete solutions together.

Just how important this participatory approach is to us is evident in our latest construction project to modernise our office spaces: at the team’s request, we are gradually transitioning to state-of-the-art open-plan solutions. In joint workshops with the fit-out contractor, we optimised soundproofing and indoor climate in advance to ensure that, ultimately, everyone feels truly comfortable at their workstation. The desire for more physical activity in everyday life is also being implemented directly: short, guided active breaks – such as a 15-minute stretching session right at the workstation – help to effectively relieve tension caused by sedentary work. We are also breaking down barriers: we are addressing language barriers in staff surveys through digital translation tools and additional working hours, and the warehouse team is being equipped with mobile devices to enable their participation.

A strong message both internally and externally

For us, workplace health is not just an ‘add-on’, but is firmly embedded in our day-to-day operations – as evidenced by our quality and environmental audits, as well as our sustainability reporting. “We regularly receive feedback about the positive atmosphere here,” says Gabriele Leibetseder. “We receive many targeted applications precisely because we take the issue of health so seriously. Through our workplace health promotion programme, we’re already implementing key measures for genuine employer branding.”
