Processing guideline
Preparation of the substrate
The substrate must be dry, frost-free, clean and free of dust, oils, greases, brittle or poorly adhering areas.
Preparing the sprayer:
Insert the hose bag into the sprayer and carefully open it with pliers. Then place the large spray nozzle directly onto the opening of the hose bag and close the sprayer completely with the black cap. Then screw the second nozzle with external thread onto the lid of the sprayer and tighten by hand.Set the compressor to approx. 6 bar and connect the compressed air hose to the sprayer; the working pressure can be adjusted on the sprayer using the blue rotary knob if necessary. The front black knob is used to select whether to spray or draw a bead; the middle position is recommended at the start. Before use, briefly test the selected setting on a test surface and readjust if necessary. Clean the sprayer thoroughly immediately after use to prevent residues from hardening and impairing its function.
Processing
Check the substrate before application. It must be dry, dust-free and stable.The distance between the sprayer and the component should be approx. 20 cm. If joints are to be filled with the spray setting, it is recommended to spray approx. 3 cm next to the joint and work from both sides so that the sealant is guided into the joint. The sealant can be used to bridge joints up to 3 mm. For larger joints, OMEGA PoBit reinforcement tape or ISOCELL system adhesive tape should be used. For thicker layers, spray in two coats, preferably crosswise.
For detailed connections that are difficult to reach, it is recommended to apply the sealant with a brush. Avoid contact with bituminous and plasticiser-releasing materials such as butyl, EPDM, neoprene and black paint.
