OMEGA G50 Facade Lining VFK
The full-surface adhesive film offers unlimited weather resistance and is permanently UV-stabilised. Its special coating allows it to be used behind semi-transparent and partially open façades, e.g. made of timber, expanded metal or glass. To protect the film from mechanical damage, care should be taken to ensure that the proportion of the façade consisting of openings is limited to < 50 per cent or that the maximum joint width is 50 mm. Larger joint widths require project-specific approval from ISOCELL.

The special coating allows it to be used behind semi-transparent and partially open facades, e.g. made of wood, expanded metal or glass. In order to protect the film against mechanical damage, care should be taken to ensure that the opening portion of the façade is limited to < 50% or has a maximum joint opening of 50 mm. Larger joint spacings require an object-specific approval from ISOCELL.

Adhesive properties
OMEGA G50 VFK adopts the functions of wind and air-tightness as well as weather protection, not however the function of a load-bearing connection. OMEGA G50 VFK cannot be plastered or painted over.
Adhesive technique
OMEGA G50 VFK must be bonded with the substrate over the entire surface. We recommend first cutting the required quantity to length, pulling the liner away a little and attaching the OMEGA G50 VFK at one end of the construction component.The second step is to gradually pull off the liner on both sides, at the same time rubbing on the sheeting to keep it bubble-free, using e.g. a wide squeegee or wide, straight brush. The liner can be wound around a square timber and then pulled off. In this way the tension used when pulling can be evenly distributed and a crease-free and smooth bond is achieved. Overlaps of the adhesive tape should be min. 10 cm. Sufficient pressure must be applied to the open edge using a pressure roller.
