Processing
The Vibradyn EKS HL3000 decoupling washer is used as an insert under pan head screws or normal wood screws with a washer. Compression of the decoupling washer must be ensured for effective decoupling. The screw must be tightened so that compression takes place. The maximum compression should not exceed a deflection of 15%.
Application: screwed ceiling connection
In order to achieve consistent noise decoupling, care must be taken that the screw shaft does not touch the ceiling that is to be decoupled. Partially threaded screws with a correspondingly oversized pre-drilled hole in the ceiling are particularly suitable for this. See the adjacent sketch.

The use of the Vibradyn EKS HL 3000 decoupling washer may affect the force absorption of the connector. No measurement results are available for this. It is the user's responsibility to estimate the number of additionally required connectors.
