(1) Seperating layer below the metal sheet

OMEGA DRAINY Mesh is installed by laying it parallel to the rafters on top of the roof underlay. Wherever possible place uninterrupted pieces from eave to eave across the ridge.
To fix the OMEGA DRAINY Mesh temporarily e.g. AIRSTOP ELASTO can be used along the inclined edge. Also, OMEGA QUILLI could be glued on the underlay with some dots or lines parallel with rafters to attach it temporarily. Loose ends can additionally be connected by putting a tape horizontally on top of the mesh to connect the ends. Do not block the waterflow with horizontal tapes or sealants below the mesh.
The OMEGA DRAINY Mesh is mechanically secured together with the metal sheeting on top. Proceeding step by step as described is recommended.

(2) Eaves construction

We recommend drainage using a metal section.

(3) Penetration points

Openings where the roof is penetrated (outlet vents, roof windows, chimneys etc.) should be kept as small
as possible and the membrane sections should be made with a cutter knife in such a way that the roof membrane and sealings are not damaged. OMEGA DRAINY mesh can be cut with a cutter.

The manufacturer can accept no liability for mechanical damage. The applicable
national regulations and guidelines in the country of construction must be observed!
The OMEGA DRAINY Mesh does not replace roof covering or roof underlay. The roof must be covered together with the OMEGA DRAINY Mesh.
