AIRSTOP SPOTI Sealing Sleeve
Air-tight installation of recessed lights to ensure sufficient space for the electrical installation.
The special AIRSTOP SPOTI Sealing Sleeve permits air-tight fitting of ceiling lights where there is little room for installation. The generously-sized adhesive cuff is installed directly onto the existing air-tight level (vapour retarder, OSB panels).
AIRSTOP SPOTI is also highly suited for prefabrication in timber frame and container construction.

Where little space is available, remove as much of the insulation panel as necessary. Make an air-tight join between the sealing sleeve and the vapour barrier. Feed conduit installation into the area of the sleeve before mounting the plaster board.Finally, the plasterboard can be mounted and holes for the lights can be drilled.
