To guarantee air and wind-tightness for the skin of a construction it must have the appropriate foils or panel materials providing a permanent seal at overlaps, gaps, joints and penetration points. Compressed Joint Tape BG 1 is a pre-compressed polyurethane soft foam joint tape impregnated with an acrylate dispersion, available in various dimensions for gaps from 2mm to 50mm in building construction and civil engineering, for window installation, metal constructions, block house construction etc.

Processing guideline
PROCESSING
For adhesion of the mounting aid to the surface the substrates must be free from dust and grease, also dry and supporting. The gaps must be free from construction dirt. Cut off end pieces, adding 2cm/m when cutting to length. Work on vertical gaps beginning at the bottom, butt-joint tape ends.The tape should be placed inwards 2 mm from the gap edge. Protect tape from standing in water!
