For nature’s sake

A newspaper needs much less energy to become insulation than other raw materials. As such it is part of a fascinating cycle that produces a new, independent product with every metamorphosis.

At the beginning there was the vision of a sustainable, ecological insulation. ISOCELL cellulose is natural thermal insulation made from cellulose fibres that come from the recycling of clean, sorted newspapers.
Old paper is recycled up to six times before it becomes cellulose insulation. And the same cellulose insulation can be blown into houses three times.

The focus is also on climate protection during production. The plant in Hartberg uses green energy for production of this reliable insulation.

The award of the ‘natureplus’ eco-label as well as the Austrian Ecolabel confirm the high standards of climate protection, healthy living and the sustainability of ISOCELL cellulose.
