AIRSTOP DIMAROLL
Sealant that is used in the same way as an adhesive tape. For the permanently elastic, airtight sealing of intersections and overlaps, as well as of vapour retarders and foils. Can be used to seal membrane perimeters to walls and other substrates.

Field of application

To guarantee the air and wind-tightness of a building’s shell the membranes or panels used must have a permanent seal at overlaps and joints. AIRSTOP DIMAROLL is a sealant bead that is used in the same way as an adhesive tape. It is used for permanently elastic airtight adhesion of vapour retarders and sealing membranes at joints, connections of construction components and joint overlaps in dry-lining (with the exception of swimming pool areas).

Processing guideline
DESCRIPTION
Freshly applied AIRSTOP DIMAROLL must be protected from damp and rain. It is applied directly from the roll onto one side of the dust and grease-free material and/or substrate. On slightly dusty material surfaces the surface to which the adhesive is applied must be pre-treated with a primer (e.g. BUBI LF, UNI Primer) to increase the strength of the bond. Then the membrane is folded back to avoid stress when pulling and is attached by slight pressure. AIRSTOP DIMAROLL has the function of a seal and not of a permanent join. Full bonding is achieved after 24 hours.
